Lochend Trophy

On 18 November 2025, Troon Portland held their annual Bonspeil at Stranraer to contest the Lochend Trophy.
This magnificent trophy was presented to the club in 1961 by the then Club President Mr James M. Wood. Four teams skipped by Bert, Ewan, Mara and Aileen competed, with Mara’s rink being the winners.
On closer inspection the base of the trophy is as notable as the top!
